Plagnes Waterfall
The Plagnes waterfall is located in the village of Trélans, along the road which goes from Montfalgoux to the hamlet of Plagnes, where one of the former monastic barns of the Domerie d'Aubrac is located. Between the foothills of the Aubrac mountains with deep valleys and the high plateau, the landscape leaves us dreaming here. It is around a bend that the waterfall suddenly appears. Formed by the Carteyrou creek, which descends along a volcanic cliff to reach lower Doulou stream, a tributary of the Lot river. A bridge allows to cross the creek and to admire the waterfall.
