Discover the cultural heritage of the Grands Causses

Let yourself be charmed by an extraordinary cultural heritage. The Grands Causses highlands are listed UNESCO World Heritage Site as an example of the "Cultural Landscape of Mediterranean Agropastoralism". The so-called small heritage such as cazelles (stone build shepherds’ shelters), drailles (local trails), fountains and lavognes (man-stoned geological depressions converted into rainwater collectors for cattle), but also magnificent local Caussenard farms, are as many witnesses of this particular way of life which shaped the territory. Megaliths, dolmens, menhirs are also found in large numbers on the Grands Causses highlands, you can discover some of them thanks to our Travel Book.
