A magnificent panorama stretches before our eyes: from the green plains of the Aveyron Valley to the Causses highlands, find your way thanks to the orientation table. Sévérac d'Aveyron was built around this castle, and village life is punctuated by an extraordinary historical past: in summer, the town wakes up to the sound of street theater, guided tours of medieval buildings and the many activities that take place at the castle and in the village’s alleys.

As of the 10th century local lords established their stronghold at this strategic location. The latter built the large Renaissance-style castle currently under restoration.
