Le Massegros

Proudly erected at the entrance of the village, Gédéon, the Massegros’ shepherd (Lou Pastre) welcomes you to the Tarn river Canyon and the Grands Causses highlands. Land of breeding and agriculture, Le Massegros has many farms mainly focused on sheep production and benefits from three dairies on its territory. In addition to this agricultural tradition, Le Massegros makes tourism one of its priorities. Ideally located at a stone's throw from the Tarn river Canyon and in the heart of the Causse de Sauveterre highland plateau, all kinds of outdoor activities are available: hiking, cycling (road or all-terrain), canoeing, stand up paddle, rafting, climbing, via ferrata...
