The Christ’s face

Will you be able to spot the Christ’s face carved in the cliff’s rock?

The Christ’s face in the Tarn river Canyon

The Tarn river Canyon is made up of impressive limestone cliffs sculpted by water and wind for thousands of years. Erosion, this magician, has created forms over time, sometimes spectacular, sometimes poetic. On the left bank of the Tarn river, between the Baumes Circus and the hamlet of La Croze, in the direction of Les Vignes - La Malène, a face emerges from the rock. It’s called the "Christ’s face". Don't forget to look for it when you pass by!
