Founded in 1960 in the heart of the Aubrac plateau, the Jeune Montagne cheese cooperative invites you to discover behind the scenes of the production of Laguiole AOP and its aligot of Aubrac. In the morning, the cheese makers make the fresh Aubrac tome and the PDO laguiole.
Screening room: a film tells you about the passion of the poductors for their profession and the story of a sector rooted in its history Glass galleries: observe the workshops for making the fresh tome of Aubrac and the Laguiole AOP, as well as one of our maturing cellars.
Tasting: awaken your taste buds to the different refinements of Laguiole AOP boutique: the opportunity to take home all the cheese specialties of the Cooperative made with raw and whole milk from Simmental and Aubrac cows.
Farm visit: during school holidays, come and meet Young Mountain producers including Ferme du Teil. A moment of exchange that ends with a gourmet snack
