The Causse de Sauveterre highland villages with a view of the Tarn river Canyon

On the Causse de Sauveterre highland some ancestral villages were built overhanging the Tarn river Canyon and benefit from exceptional scenic views. Such is the case of Saint-Rome de Dolan, a small typical village nestled in the shade of the great Pierre Monestier training center; of Saint-Georges de Lévéjac located not far from the famous Point Sublime viewpoint, as well as Laval-du-Tarn on the road to Sainte-Enimie.

Some villages of the Causse de Sauveterre highland, only a few kilometers from the Tarn river Canyon are also worth a detour: come and discover Le Massegros, with its many activities throughout the year, or Le Recoux with picturesque architecture.
